Which app do I need?
Clients upload through their invitation link without an account or installation. The business manages portals in the online app. Filevia Receiver saves incoming files on a computer; Filevia Sender emails download links to addresses or contact groups.
My pairing code does not work
A pairing code is valid for one hour and can be used once. Generate a new code in Filevia for the correct Sender or Receiver. An upload link is not a pairing code.
Does upload received mean the file is already on the computer?
The upload confirmation means the encrypted file is ready. Receiver confirms only after decrypting and saving it to disk. If the computer is off, start Receiver before the file expires. After a connection failure, the app automatically retries a missing confirmation.
What if an upload fails?
Keep the tab open and choose retry. The same attempt continues; if the file is already uploaded, only completion is retried. The upload portal shows its maximum file size. Share the access code for an encrypted download link through a separate channel.
